One of my favorite treats is a few scoops of Homemade (brand) natural vanilla bean ice cream (Fresh Market) and an ice-cold bottle of Triple XXX Root Beer poured over it, its liquid crack in a pint glass. Another favorite is donuts and a trip through Texas had to include a stop @ Round Rock Donuts. RRD, since 1926, hand-makes their yeast donuts fresh daily. My cherry-filled donut was outstanding and the signature RR glazed orange was easily one of the best I have ever eaten. Everything really is bigger in Texas so of course RR makes a Texas sized donuts that weighs 2lbs and is equal to 12 regular donuts. Bring that into work and you will be king for a day. Enjoy!
