Jordan & Holly, (hubby & wifey) both Liberty University grads, opened Rookies Ice Cream & Cookies inside their vintage Kenskill Camper in Forest, Virginia in 2017 Their made-from-scratch cookies are baked fresh daily. The ice cream sandwiches are handcrafted and are made with Homestead Creamery Ice Cream. I have not had an ice cream sandwich yet, but my scooped/cupped vanilla was really great! Roanoke's Rookie's is located in the Historic Patrick Henry Hotel (apartments now) and has a walkup window and inside seating.
Rookies Cookies? Sounds great. The photo of the ice cream is original? Ice cream is very difficult to photograph, and this shot is perfect! Should be the cover of Gourmet Ice Cream Monthly.
