One of the first things to do when you get to Moab is drive and hike Arches National Park. It is one of the most amazing places on earth. It is so amazing, that you are very likely to forget what day it is and what time it is. You may also realize that you got to the park at 9:00am and it is now 3:30. I wondered, why was I dizzy? And, why do I feel weak? Its because, I had not eaten in hours. Milt’s has served Moab since 1954. Milt’s is off the beaten path, So you may have to ask a local to steer you in the right direction. They have a front order window or you can eat inside. Eight swivel stools at the Formica counter and two tables with two chairs each. I ordered a chilidog. Mine came on a plate smothered with chili, relish, onions, mustard and a poppy seed bun. It was excellent!!! Fresh cut fries and a real vanilla milkshake made this an incredible combo! On my way out of town, I stopped again, for a chilidog with coleslaw. They made fresh coleslaw just for my dog. WOW! And I had to have a shake for the road. Again, both were excellent! If your near Moab Utah, See Arches and eat at Milt’s Stop and eat.
