A "Real" milkshake is a work of art; culinary art, but art none the less. There are many Picasso forgeries out there, but very few are the real thing. In the realm of excellent milkshakes, The Elliston Place Soda Shop, is the real thing. Their culinary artists make incredible milkshakes every day. My shake was vanilla. It was incredible, rich vanilla flavor, perfect consistency, and very cold. The milkshake came in a stainless steel mixer cup. The shake chilled my mixer cup to the point that frost on the outside of the cup would freeze over any fingerprint melted spots. They do give you a soda fountain glass cup to pour your shake into. Their Milkshakes are euphoric. There are very few places on earth that have milkshakes this good. The Elliston Place Soda Shop has been on earth since 1938. They also have an excellent vintage neon sign out in front of their shop.
