What is a scrambled dog? It's a chopped up (egg-less) hotdog/bun smothered in chili (with beans) topped with pickles and onions and the Dinglewood Pharmacy (since 1918) is famous for them. Fans of the scrambled dog include; President Carter, Ester Rolle (Good Times), Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas (his sister lives in Columbus) and Prince Charles (he had one with the Governor @ the mansion). The Dinglewood Pharmacy has also catered weddings in Saudi Arabia and Florence, Italy. My scrambled dog, in all of its glory, was very good and my vanilla shake, made with Blue Bell ice cream was excellent. They also serve Coke & Sprite floats, Boston Coolers, and the drinks are self-serve. Enjoy!
