While I'm not the biggest fan of the red slaw, I do love their cut with a fork tender sliced Q. College Barbecue (since 1965) smokes their pork shoulders with hickory. Much love as well, for their baked-beans, hushpuppies, brewed sweet iced tea and incredibly fast service. Tip well & Enjoy!

I would eat there every other day! It looks like the real deal. I know what "smoked" bbq means, but what is pit-cooked Q? Which is better, in the CO opinion?

Pit-cooked is better because the pork is directly cooked and smoked over the wood or coals. It is more labor intensive for the owner so you see it less and less all the time. And fire marshals really don't like them even if they are Grandfathered in.
