City Dogs #1 (2008) is located in Richmond's historic (cobblestoned) Shockoe Slip. This is a family owned and operated local business. The dogs here are grilled and the buns are steamed. Even with casings, my two Richmond dogs were great! Casings are the default dog. You can get your hotdog without a casing as well, just ask. The Richmond & Chicago hot-dogs are their most popular. To help with parking, there is a garage just a short walk away from their place. They also have a second location in Richmond's Fan District. Enjoy!
