Taking a Tennessee road less traveled, I was driving through another of many small back road towns and drove past a nice woodpile with a Q place attached (fresh wood usually means it's good). And this time my gamble paid off nicely. Charlie's cooks/smokes their pork shoulders low and slow for 24 hours + over oak and hickory slats that are burned down to the coals. My tender and juicy pulled pork sandwich topped with mayo based slaw was excellent. Add their medium Q sauce to the mix and it's even better. The sweet tea was also very good. Place your order @ the window and they will bring your meal out to your table. Enjoy!
