just ask any Virginia Tech student. Carol Lee is a family owned and operated local Blacksburg business. They sell on average about 4 to 5,000+ donuts a week. The blueberry & Bavarian Cream are their best sellers. One bite of these light, fluffy, sweet, glazed confections and you too will become a true believer. Lemon-filled, Apple-filled and Bavarian cream made up my half-dozen. All were truly outstanding! Carol Lee is easily one of my top 10 donut shops in America. Warning: the shop will close early if they run out, so get there early. Enjoy!
