The King Tut Drive-in in Beckley is only curb service with no inside
eating area. The Tut has been in business since the early 1940’s. Just find a spot under the carport and flash your
lights to get the attention of your carhop. The menu is posted on several boards on their back fence. The carhops have menus
too. Your order comes on a window tray. My slawdog was excellent! It came with mustard, onions, chili and sweet slaw. The
split top bun was toasted on both sides. All of the bread items are baked weekly on the premises. I also had a King Tut burger
topped with cheese, mustard, ketchup and onions. The burger and its homemade bun were excellent! The King Tut is closed on
Wednesday. Happy Eating.
