This famous snack bar is a Culpeper landmark and it’s been run and owned by the Jenkins family since 1947. The vintage
neon and steel sign is in excellent condition and it’s one of the best examples you will find in the state. You can
choose to stand and eat at the counter inside or use the picnic tables outside, but most place orders to go. I had two very
good dogs topped with chili, slaw, mustard and onions. Your nuclear-red dogs are grilled and the buns are steamed. They use
Castleberry Brand chili on their dogs. Remember to mind your manners while you are here, because they don’t tolerate
loud talking, foul language or cell phone use inside. Baby Jim’s is open from 4:30am to 3:00pm. The odd hours are to
better serve Amtrak’s morning rail commuters heading into D.C. and the city’s many shift workers. Enjoy!
