Jinx's Pit' Stop Barbeque, Charlottesville, VA

Jinx’s Barbeque inhabits a metal-roofed shack. On one side of the shack is a nice pile of chopped wood. There is A gravel parking lot on the same side. Jinx’s never looks like it is open. You just have to open the front screen door and either knock or just open it. It is better to call ahead to see if the owner will be there, because Jinx’s has strange hours anyway, and they do a lot of catering, so they are sometimes closed on days they should be open. The shack is not very roomy; it has two booths and three bar stools at a small counter. Five people inside at once will crowd the place. The interior is decorated with old ad-vertising signs. I got a pulled pork sandwich on white bread with baked beans. The only tea they had came in a can. My sandwich and beans came on an old, yellow, plastic, school lunch plate with the three sections molded into it. The beans were ok. My pork sandwich was excellent! The sauce on the q was also excellent, but I could have used a little more sauce on mine.
